Your doctor can fax a new prescription to any of our locations or e-prescribe using PrescribeIT. During your next doctor's visit, simply ask your doctor to send your prescription to "Affirming Care Pharmacy"!

We will contact your old pharmacy, collect your insurance information, transfer your prescription refills, and then get in touch with you to coordinate payment and delivery. For future prescriptions, you can have your doctor fax or e-prescribe directly to Affirming Care Pharmacy.

No, we are a full-service pharmacy and can help you with any of your prescription or pharmacy service needs!

Our prescription delivery and medication management service are free! You only need to pay your usual insurance deductible (co-pay). For specialty medications, we help you navigate and register for patient support and financial assistance programs to reduce the cost of your medication wherever possible.

Affirming Care Pharmacy delivers the next business day if prescriptions are received by 3 pm. In remote locations, service may take longer. Ask a member of our pharmacy team for an estimated delivery time when filling your prescription. The delivery standard is 1-3 business days (next business day service to most urban centers).

We deliver the same day for patients in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Calgary Area.

Local Toronto packages are delivered between 6 pm and 10 pm.

Local Calgary packages are delivered between 3 pm and 10 pm.

Shipments with Canada Post and Purolator are delivered between 9 am and 5 pm (typically next business day).

Yes, we deliver controlled substances, but your identification must be verified before we schedule your delivery and at the time of drop-off by our 3rd party couriers (government-issued identification required). Controlled substances can only be delivered locally within the Greater Toronto and Greater Calgary areas at this time.

Yes, Affirming Care Pharmacy offers direct billing with all major private insurance providers across Canada and will arrange for direct billing on your behalf if available. If you have private insurance coverage, please call us to determine your eligibility.

All payments are processed by Moneris, either online using our secure payment gateway with bank-grade security or in-store/over the phone.
